It's our vision to get back to the basics: Faith, Love, and Obedience in Christ. John 14:15 Jesus declares, " If you love me you will keep my commands" There is LIFE in His LOVE. He loves us! John 10:10 states, "The thief (satan, your troubles) comes only to steal (your joy) kill (your dreams) and destroy (your life), but Jesus has come that you may have LIFE Abundantly." So, it's our belief that life here on earth was not intended to be filled with defeat and constant struggles, but a life of dominion as our Father intended it to be. Together we will grow in faith through the teaching of Jesus Christ and enjoy the life He's given us.
Our Mission:
'Encountering Intimacy' : Your christian walk is developed and cultivated by an intimate relationship with The Father. He says in His word, "COME TO ME all who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, for I am humble and gentle and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke fits perfectly and the burden I give is light." (Matthew 11:28-30) Here at LifeWay, we consider that being our number one priority. We will strive, through the guiding of the Holy Spirit, to provide an atmoshere where that can happen. Only through Him and spiritual discipline can true change, happiness, and wellbeing be obtained.
'Encouraging One Another' : The bible teaches, "And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage and warn each other, especially now that they day of His coming back again is drawing near." (Hebrews 10:25) It is through our past trials and mountain top experiences that we can truely help build one another up. We believe in real relationships, so leave your masks at the door. We want to provide a place for the hurting to be healed, the tired to get rest, and the excited to celebrate. That's how our family relates here at LifeWay.
'Engaging our Community' : Jesus spent much of His time pouring into the lives of others and had great compassion for the needy and the hurting. Today, many of those conditions still exist. There are so many people that need the touch of Christ and we are His extensions. There's no better way to show the love of Christ than serving someone else. "For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." (Ephesians 2:10) Many don't know Him, others know of Him but don't know Him, and some do and are waiting for an invitation. So, here's yours. Come experience a difference at LifeWay.
